Baffle Creek is at the southern boundary of the Discovery Coast and was first occupied by settlers in 1853 when Rosedale Station was built by a family from Irland. Later, in 1908 a settlement of mostly German emigrants was established in Wartburg. The Wartburg church is testimony of the pioneering past of this area. | ||||
